Together with the Wageningen University and Research, and the support of StartHub Wageningen, the Netherlands Space Office and Deltares we are co-organising a hackathon on “Spatial Data for Biodiversity” which will be held on 23 – 24 October 2023 in Ede, the Netherlands.
For this Hackathon, the challenge is to use available data related to biodiversity (stressors and habitats) to support the implementation of actionable biodiversity risk maps and help policy-makers, business owners and advisors in Netherlands make well-informed decisions, mitigate risks and give appropriate advice.
The Hackathon is open to entrepreneurs, start-ups, coders, researchers, scientists, EO specialists, GIS enthusiasts, UI specialists, biodiversity experts, and anyone who is interested in spatial data for fostering biodiversity as a solution to preserve ecosystsems and societies.
Participants will be supported by space, data, biodiversity and innovation experts to build their projects.
